The PowerPoint slides (Chinese version only) of the sharing and talks in the Smoke-free Teens Training Camps have been uploaded to the Team Page. Smoke-free Teens can login to the Page to review the related information, including health talks, preparation for Smoke-free Programmes, sharing by the doctors on health risks of e-cigarettes and other new tobacco products and introduction of HKU Youth Quitline.

“Smoke-free Teens Programme 2019-20” is now available for enrollment!

“Smoke-free Teens Programme 2019-20” is now available for enrollment! The programme consists of the 2-day-1-night "Smoke-free Training Camp" and "Smoke-free Programmes in Schools and Community". The invitation letter was sent to secondary schools, youth centres and uniform groups, Secondary 1 to 4 students or teenagers aged 14 to 18 are welcomed to join. If you are interested, please contact your teachers or staff for enquiry and enrollment. Enrollment will be on first-come-first-served basis.

Over 250 “Smoke-free Teens” initiate more than 90 innovative smoke-free activities in their schools and the community, reaching more than 18,100 citizens in the 2018-19 programme. Thank you for all your support and efforts!

Submission of proposal of Smoke-free Programmes

All participating teams of the “Smoke-free Teens Programme 2018-19” should submit the proposal of Smoke-free Programmes and 3-month follow up questionnaire on or before 14 September 2018 (Friday) by e-mail (project@cosh.org.hk), fax (2575 3966) or through programme website’s Team Page for COSH’s review. Smoke-free Teens can also fill in or download the abovementioned documents on the Team Page. For proposals filled in through programme website, they are required to be reviewed and submitted by school teachers/staff on the Team Page.

Smoke-free Teens Training Camp: Weather news

The Standby Signal No. 1 is in force. For Smoke-free Teens who are attending the Training Camp on 24 July 2018, please pay attention to the latest weather news and make reference to the “Arrangement under Bad weather” which was shared at the briefing session earlier. All camp activities will be held as usual if Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning Signal or Typhoon Warning Signal No. 1 or 3 is issued by the Observatory during 7am to 9am on 24 July 2018. All participants are advised to pay close attention to the latest notice on camp’s arrangement issued by COSH on programme website, Facebook page (smokefreeteens) and Instagram (smokefree_teens).

If Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning Signal or Typhoon Warning Signal No. 1 or 3 is issued by the Observatory

 All camp activities will be canceled

The enrollment deadline for “Smoke-free Teens Programme 2018-19” is on 27 June 2018. Quota is limited, first-come-first-served. Apart from a 2-day-1-night leadership training camp which will be held this summer, all participants of “Smoke-free Teens Programme 2018-19” are also welcomed to join the Programme Briefing Session cum Workshop which will be held on 10 July 2018. Famous YouTuber FHProductionHK and the multi-media team of Ming Pao will share some useful tips on producing interesting and engaging online videos.
